Bill Lowe’s Pieces of Cane

World renowned jazz trombonist and tubaist, Bill Lowe, brings his script for Kabnis: The Gothic Detective Musical to Hibernian Hall for a captivating staged reading/workshop on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 8:00pm.  Kabnis is Lowe’s creative interpretation of the third section of Harlem Renaissance author Jean Toomer’s critically-acclaimed novel CANE, which includes a series of poems and short stories depicting African-American life in the early 20th century.
