From the first SpiderMonkey Strings concert, at the Artstuff festival in Boston. It was also my birthday. This piece evolved into the music for the film The First Three Lives of Stuart Hornsley that is on the Other Stories CD.

This composition appears on Other Stories with SpiderMonkey Strings, but I've always also loved this earlier version, from a Boston concert honoring Miles Davis' 75th birthday, with a fierce solo by the incomparable Jim Hobbs.
